John Deere Waterloo Boy Reefer – Lionel 2528630

Description

In 1918, John Deere was the leading manufacturer of plows, and they were working to develop a tractor of their own to solidify that status. A $2 million dollar purchase of the Waterloo Gasoline Engine Company and the “Waterloo Boy” Tractor was the solution to that problem, and turned John Deere into the iconic company they are today. The billboard reefer is a perfect celebration of the original imagery and advertisements that put this tractor on the map. Also available in the popular John Deere reefer line, we celebrate John Deere’s commitment to providing “Quality Equipment” for farming with a uniquely decorated reefer celebrating that sentiment.
